In 2020, the British Home Office changed its asylum seeker housing policy, causing over 5 000 refugees to be housed in former military facilities where they share less living space than the average parking space.
To make the policy's reality tangible to the public, I redesigned a parking space in central London into a life-size floor plan for refugee accommodation.
