"London Car Park Gives New Perspectives On Asylum Seekers' Housing Conditions"

– BBC

In 2023, the British Home Office enacted a new policy, causing asylum seekers to have less living space than the average car park. Despite studies stating humans need 37 square meters or more per person for comfortable living.

To make the policy's reality tangible to the public, I redesigned a car park outside the Home Office in London into a life-size floor plan enacted for the refugees living aboard Bibby Stockholm.
